An Afghan court has sentenced four men to death for participating in the mob killing of a young woman named Farkhunda in Kabul in March. Eight others were sentenced to long prison terms, police officers accused of failing to intervene are awaiting their verdicts, and another 18 defendants were found not guilty due to lack of evidence.
